Incubus Tales: Chapter 18

Welcome to Incubus Tales: A Thousand Words by Hushicho. In Noctemberg, it is always night. Dhiar, proprietor and gay incubus, welcomes you to Phantasies, a very special shop. Sensuality is more than just Dhiar’s stock in trade, it is his raison d’être. NSFW.

A new chapter appears every Thursdays. This week is Chapter Eighteen.

18th Night—The Other Side of Life

It wasn’t at all what Dhiar had expected, this place. It was almost like an experiment in décor and architecture, but fully appealing: everything seemed warm and inviting, no real walls, and only a few windows, easily hidden by drapes. Those drapes, as well as tapestries and cloth hangings, made the borders of the room. It looked a bit like what a harem might resemble, in some elaborate fantasy.

It reminded Dhiar of home. The lazy, luxurious lounges full of cushions, made into dreamlike mazes of diaphanous fabrics that shone like they were made of sugar; he couldn’t help himself and remembered the Pit, the most fabulous club in Dis. All around its massive aquatic column were bars, seats, and of course those same lounges.

He felt like asking if Siros had ever been to the Great City, but he couldn’t decide if that might be rude or not, so he swallowed it.

“I wanted to go,” Siros answered, without the question ever being asked.

Dhiar turned in surprise, to face the angel. “Did you…?”

“I didn’t mean to. I usually don’t do that. Usually I can only get little impressions. Wants, desires, things like that.” Siros leaned close and kissed Dhiar’s forehead. “Don’t worry. Your thoughts are safe. I just saw that image so strongly… you must miss it.”

Dhiar softly, slowly nodded his head. He did miss it. Even the air tasted different there. Everything was so delightful, so vivid. Every moment there truly made it feel like living. It was like everything else was just an imitation and couldn’t quite get the essence.

“Would you like something to drink?” The angel moved away, gliding almost, with his wings flicking out to take him over the space.

That must be why it was so open, Dhiar thought. He likes to fly. And why shouldn’t he? If one has wings, one ought to fly.

“Some juice, perhaps?”

“Pomegranate is fresh,” Siros called, from the icebox. “Do you like that? I have some apple, it’s a little older… the cranberry… I’m not sure if that’s still any good…”

Dhiar wandered over to the area stacked high with soft pillows and blankets, undressing before he reached it. He lightly used his shirt to dry his hair a little more, then delicately draped himself along a few cushions, locks tumbling around his face, framing it like a perfect picture.

“Pomegranate, please…”

Siros nodded and reached into the icebox, pulling out the carafe and turning to take a glass. He fumbled the bottle and nearly dropped it. If not for quick reflexes, he might have.

“Sorry!” Dhiar laughed and covered his mouth. “I didn’t want to get your pretty cushions wet, and my clothes are still damp from the rain and dirty from the rolling around in the garden. I hope you don’t mind.” He reached for one of the blankets.

“No! No, not at all.” The angel grinned, pushing off the ground as he did and floating over, slipping on the air currents and touching down next to the Incubus.

He handed off the glass and started to take his own clothes off, which was a marvel to be seen. He had the most fascinating bodily hair: it was almost iridescent, like a very light blond sparkling along his body. It caught the eye, and with certain angles became more noticeable. And between the legs, what a perfectly-proportioned treat! The buttocks, how squeezable and appealing to the vision!

He settled down with Dhiar, taking the blanket and pulling it around the both of them. His arms slid around the other man, pulling him close.

“Enjoy your drink. Will you stay the night?” Then Siros caught himself and laughed. “So to speak.”

“I certainly will.” Dhiar sipped at the juice, pure and ruby-red. It tinted his lips.

He had intended to find somewhere to stay anyway, even if it happened to be with the host. Usually any decent party offered accommodation for its guests who felt unable to travel home at the late hour. This, however, was a much more agreeable option.

“I love your… apartment? Condominium? I’m not sure what to call it.” Dhiar leaned closer and pressed his lips to Siros’s, letting him taste the fruit’s sweetness left on them.

The angel just laughed, running a hand softly up and down at the small of Dhiar’s back. “I’m not sure what to call it either. This place doesn’t have a handy name like ‘Angel’s Cloud Apartments’ or something like that. I just call it my place and done with it.”

“It’s beautiful.”

“Thank you.”

The Incubus leaned over the winged man to place his half-finished beverage on a low-lying table. He kept himself draped over Siros, kissing down his body, rubbing his cheek against the soft hairs. They were so soft, softer than most any Dhiar had ever felt. Clearly the angel had taken his job seriously. Every part of him was like love, good and bad, pleasant and painful… Dhiar wanted to lose himself forever in Siros, in each curve and crevasse.

Siros softly cleared his throat, bringing his hand up through the hematite curls, along his new lover’s scalp. “You don’t have to… you know… do anything. I’m not obligating you. We can just… I can hold you, we can sleep… there are no obligations. You don’t have to do anything for me.”

“I know,” Dhiar quickly replied, nosing the man’s navel. “I want to. I’m exploring you… I want to feel you, all over, and feel what you feel like. I want to experience you in every way… and if we take it slow, that’s fine too. But I want to touch you, and smell you, and see you… taste you… hear what sounds you make… I want everything about you. I’m getting a feel for the layout, you might say.”

They both laughed, the Incubus dipping his head down farther, fingers gliding along the angel’s length. It was beautiful, truly. Like a pink-tipped lily, or a sceptre hewn of alabaster, kissed with the most tender tint at the very tip.

It would be a long, wonderfully long, night, he hoped.
